Chris Martin and Flaming Lips collaboration 'I Don't Want You To Die' emerges online

Those Coldplay fans worried at the increasingly pop-like nature of Coldplay's influences may take comfort at the more alternative sound of the latest addition to the Chris Martin solo discography. His collaboration with The Flaming Lips can now be listened to below.

Entitled 'I Don’t Want You To Die', the track formed a part of The Flaming Lips’ special Record Store Day release 'Heady Fwends', which also included appearances from the likes of Yoko Ono, Bon Iver and Tame Impala.

According to reports, including from Flaming Lips singer Wayne Coyne, the album could be set for a wider digital release via iTunes within the next month.

Here is the artwork for the limited edition vinyl release.
